What to Do If Your PDF Still Exceeds 5 MB
- Enable Rasterize Pages in Target Size mode: If a document has heavy embedded fonts or complex vector layers, toggling Rasterize Pages converts each sheet into a clean 150 DPI image to meet strict portal caps.
- Scan in Grayscale or Adaptive B&W at 150 DPI: 600 DPI color scans are 8x larger than 150 DPI grayscale scans with no readable improvement for text documents.
- Split into numbered volumes if permitted: Where the portal allows multiple attachments, use Split PDF to divide large exhibits into Part 1 and Part 2.
Disclaimer: We check file size only, not whether a document meets the portal's content, translation, or legibility requirements. Always confirm current filing instructions on the official organization site.
